Event sponsors are incredibly important to the overall success of the Whitsundays Festival of Motoring and make it possible to broadcast our festival events to the regions visitors and our local community. 

Island FM Whitsundays will be vital in ensuring the Queensland Rally Championships and associated motoring events will be broadcasted across all 4 Island FM stations including Airlie Beach, Bowen, Hamilton Island and Collinsville and via the Island FM Whitsundays free App. 

The festival will showcase the Whitsundays stunning marine landscapes and the diversity of the region and is a collaboration between our event stakeholders Abell Point Marina, Whitsunday Regional Council, Tourism Whitsundays, and the Whitsunday Sporting Car Club.

Event Director, Lauren Penny said the Whitsundays Festival of Motoring will be a family-friendly weekend covering a broad range of interesting activities for children, adults and motoring sport enthusiasts.  

“Our sponsors are extremely important to this event and demonstrate the spirit of local business and community commitment across the Whitsunday Region,” she said.

About The Whitsundays Festival of Motoring 


The beautiful Whitsundays Region will host the Whitsundays Festival of Motoring on May 3-5 2019 across multiple locations including Airlie Beach, Hydeaway Bay, Abell Point Marina, Bowen Foreshore, Proserpine, Flagstaff Hill and Tonker Park. The free 3-day event is open to rally enthusiasts, locals and visitors providing a jam packed weekend ofcommunity activities and events for the entire family. One of the main focuses of the weekend will be Rally Whitsundays, which has been confirmed as the Opening Round of the 2019 P3 Solutions CAMS Queensland Rally Championship on May 4th, 2019.
